Hello FISH family!
We are elated to host this years' Makers Market for our young aspiring entrepreneurs & family!
This is an excellent opportunity for our homeschooled students to show off their skills, talents, hobbies and to express their passion inwhat they love! It's a fun way to sell your handmade creations and promote your business!
Students will have the ability to learn the importance of professionalism in the world of entrepreneurship. They will also have the opportunity to gain experience creating your products and/or services to sell and earn money for your business.
WHAT TO SELL?
Anything! Handmade items (preferred) by kids, but you can sell anything.
Do you make jewelry, candles, journals, soaps, key chains, holiday items, small paintings/drawings,homemade cards, jam or baked goods, etc?
How about a service that you offer such as lawn service, babysitting, tutoring or car detailing, etc? Well this is for you!!!
It's a wonderful way to showcase your business & connect with the community.
All vendors must register & pay to participate.
Limited space is available & FISH STUDENTS HAVE FIRST PRIORITY.
Sign-ups are open now for FISH STUDENTS ONLY through February 21st.
After February 21st, registration will open up for all FISH moms, dads and/or families who would like to secure a spot. All registrations will close March7th.

Cost: $12 per participant (non-refundable)
Admission: Free to enter- Open to the public from 10:00 a.mtill 1:00 p.m.
HOW TO REGISTER
Each student and/or Parent that wants to participate must register and pay in the FISH calendar under the date March 29th.
The cost is $12 per participant for table space. (Non-refundable registration fee)
Sign-ups will close on 3/7/2025 at 6 p.m. All payments must be made before the closing of registration.

FISH students (1st priority), FISH moms, dads & families
WHO CAN COME TO SHOP
All are welcome!!! FISH family, we are counting on you to Invite everyone
that you know! Our hope is to max out the sign uplist and to have many many potential buyers to attend! We can all make this happen by spreading the word! Invite your extended family, neighbors, friends, Church groups & co-workers!
If we can get all slots reserved for this event, we plan to give away a great prize for one of our student entrepreneurs as well as a prize to the student that has the most guests to attend! (In order for us to keep track of how many guest were invited by you, please be sure to tell your guest to give the student’s 1st & last name at the door when entering)
HOW OUR MARKET WILL WORK
On the morning of the Market, all entrepreneurs will arrive promptly between
8:30- 8:45 am to set up your space before we open the doors to our shoppers.
Each participant will set up your own table space with your products to sell or flyers/props to advertise the service that you offer. For example:If you offer car detailing, you could have a flyer with all the information and a bucket and car detailing products to draw the eye of our shoppers passing by.
Each participant must make sure that your area is completely clean once the event is over.
WHAT TO BRING
Be sure to have cash and change available for your buyers when purchases are made as you will handle your own monetary transactions.
- Bring a tablecloth to cover your table (round)
- A sign that displays the name of your business
- A price list that clearly states your prices
- Anything that you may need to display & advertise your products/service
Maker’s Market Eligibility and Guidelines
- The requirement is that the Students do all the selling at their table.
- Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult or guardian.
- Sorry, we will not allow duplicate business venues (example: Usborne Books, ColorStreet, etc).
- Sign up is 1st come, first choice.
- All foods must be pre-packaged
- Food items must contain clear labels, please list allergy related products.
- VERY IMPORTANT, every event is peanut & tree nut free. Please do not sell anything that contains nut products.
- If you are selling food items, you are required to have proper FL Cottage Law packaging and labeling to sell your food products at the Market. Click the link for Florida Cottage Law…..
- Only the table space will be provided. Pls bring anything more that you may need.
- Please adhere to the FISH dress code
- Please, ONLY sign up if you are committed to attending. Capacity for the market will be 27 participants. Your Registration will be canceled and someone from the waitlist will have the ability to secure the open spot if you have not paid by March 7, 2025. Participant fees can notbe reimbursed due to cancellations once you have paid.
